Small but sweet, our shepherds hut welcomes you to a world of cosy seclusion. The intimate interior boasts a comfortable double bed adorned with soft linens, creating a haven of relaxation for you and your loved one. The gentle glow of the ambient lighting sets the mood for a romantic evening, whether you're snuggled up with a book or watching your favourite movie together.
The glamping shepherds hut is also equipped with a small kitchenette, providing the convenience of preparing your own meals should you prefer to stay in. Not forgetting, the glamping hut also has a private bathroom and shower, stocked with eco-friendly toiletries for your stay with us.
The highlight of your shepherds hut holiday is undoubtedly the private patio overlooking the tranquil fishing lake. It’s the perfect place to watch the sunrise as you sip your morning coffee and then set again once you’re done for the day.
Parking is a short distance (approximately 25 yards) from the shepherd’s hut entrance. Take a short and enchanting walk through a fairy-lit woodland along a pathway, leading to your accommodation. in Summer months, cars can park nearer to the shepherds hut if needed.

For the fishing fanatics among us, our well-stocked fishing lake beckons with the promise of quiet moments spent casting lines and enjoying the simple pleasure of nature. Fishing is free for all of our guests, or if you’re feeling adventurous, why not give paddleboarding a go? Guests are also welcome to partake in a refreshing open-water swim.

Away the hustle and bustle of everyday life, our shepherds hut is surrounded by nature, but only a short drive or walk away from local attractions should you wish to venture out. Newark-on-Trent is four miles away and is a historical market town steeped in history and home to many independent boutique shops, cafes, and restaurants. In the evening, Newark has a lively nightlife with plenty of pubs and bars to explore. It is also home to the National Civil War Museum, Newark Palace Theatre, Newark Castle, Newark Showground, Newark Air Museum, and we're located 12 miles away from Belvoir Castle.
