Wildlife Walks

We are extremely proud to have won many awards for our commitment to wildlife including ‘English Nature Farming For Wildlife Award’ and ‘The Wilkinson Award’.

Our estate has also been recognised as one of the few places in the country which successfully homes long eared owls and therefore we are part of a national scheme which places owl boxes in secure sites and monitors the owls breeding progress (as featured on BBC’s Alan Titchmarsh Programme ‘Nature of Britain in Autumn’. Our woodland is home to many Roe Deer and Otters are often seen around the banks of the River Devon. Those taking a walk after dusk might just be lucky enough to see or hear one of our Barn or Long Eared Owls out hunting.

Hawton Waters really is the perfect place to fish or simply relax and take in the views and wildlife
